Scotland gets squeezed

The Scottish budget cuts have been announced, it’s not as bad as i expected but I’m sad to see such large cuts in health and local government when they are already struggling as it is. Here is a simple summary – courtesy of the BBC.

The one that we should be worried about is education. You may not be aware of it, but Edinburgh Napier is really struggling at the moment, many departments are facing cuts and job losses. So how will this affect our learning, maybe we will have to pay for our tuition in the next few years. I hope not!
